Chapter 4

It was already Eight in the evening when we arrived at our new house. Naka silip ako mula sa loob ng sasakyan. Vraxx stop the engine and went outside the Car.

Muli kong ibinalik ang atensyon sa magarang bahay. It was a black and grey modern house. Agad kong nagustuhan ang bubong niyon. It was a flat roof, making it low pitch look.

However, I am bothered a bit because of its glass wall. Halos lahat ay salamin na kung titingnan mo ay matatakot ka agad na gumalaw dahil baka maaring makabasag anumang oras. Although, I can't deny the fact that I really like it.

I trudged outside Vraxx' car, suspiciously wandering my eyes all over his front house. I noticed something, that's why I became alerted and composed, examining what the effing thing was wrong and weird.

I glanced at the back where Vraxx is. Kasalukuyan niyang kinukuha ang luggage ko sa compartment. My breath rasped in my throat as I inhaled deeply.

As I walked casually towards the front door, I am slowly slipping my right hand on my right thigh. Since I am wearing a short above the knee length dress, it was just easy to pulled my dagger from my thigh holster.

I swallowed hard while reaching for the door handle. Mas lalong nag abot tahip ang kaba ko nang makitang naka awang iyon ng kaunti.

Paano mangyayari iyon kung kadarating lang namin ni Vraxx? Did someone went here? Or did he left it accidentally earlier before he went to our Mansion? O baka naman...

I clenched my jaw as I vehemently pulled my thigh upwards and drastically kicked the door to pushed it open.

A loud gasp from a strange man made me alarmed. His eyes are wide open as he pointed his pistol gun on mine. It was like.. he was caught off guard and froze on his place.

The side of my lips turned up. "Who the fuck-"

A sudden veiny arm wrapped around my waist, pulling me backwards and closer to him. Halos mapigtas ang hininga ko nang mapakiramdaman ko kung sino iyon.

"Hey calm your tits, he's not our enemy baby. Don't be so paranoid..."

I gritted my teeth as I wiggled to get away around his arm.

Vraxx grinned. "Baby-"

"Can you please stop it, Caldwell?" Inis na singhal ko.

"Fine," he cackled. Then, his eyes shifted on the man in front of us. "Sorry about that, I haven't told her yet."

"Who is he, Vraxx?" I asked.

"A security from our Organization. Maybe the Commander sent him here to guard us..."

My brow creased as I faced the nervous man. "Is that true? Are you from our Organization?"

The man nodded nervously. "Apologies, Miss."

"Bakit nasa loob ka?" Vraxx asked him.

"I got bored so I watched a movie first," napangiwi siya sa sariling sagot.

I rolled my eyes, slightly irritated. "Paano kung masalisihan ka? Paano kung may mangyaring masama dahil sa kapabayaan mo? Ikaw ang ipinadala ng Commander dito, tapos hindi mo gagawin ang inuutos sa'yo?"

I can't help but to burst in annoyance. I have a point right? This is a serious matter, but it seems like he was just taking this lightly. Buhay namin ang nakataya rito. He was trusted by my Uncle, which is our Commander in the Organization, yet he's not doing his best and his mission to protect us?

The man lowered down his head, absorbing every words that I am throwing to him. Narinig ko ang pagtikhim ni Vraxx sa gilid.

"Ako na ang kakausap-"

I sharpened my eyes towards him. "Glad you know what to do."

Napangiwi siya. "Let's go inside first."

I felt Vraxx's gentle hold on my elbow as he guided me inside the house. I eyed the stranger askance first, before I started to surveyed the whole house.

"What can you say, love?"

I groaned exasperatedly. "Nakakapagod ka nang kausap, alam mo 'yon?"

His brow shot up, ipinagkrus niya ang magkabilang braso sa dibdib.

"What? Did I say something wrong-"

"What do you think babe?" I smiled mockingly.

Vraxx's eyes widened. "Ah, lumalaban.."

"Where's my room?" I asked, obviously diverting the topic.

Ngumuso siya bago namulsa at igiya ako patungo sa Master's bedroom. I checked all the guestrooms first, just to make sure that he's not lying. Iyon nga lang, tama nga siya dahil lahat ay walang mga laman, o di kaya'y hindi pa nalilinis.

"If you want to change something-"

"Huwag na, I like it..."

Vraxx stared at me for a second before he started to pull my luggage inside the room. Kumunot ang noo ko habang pinanonood siyang hilahin iyon papunta sa loob ng isa pang pinto, which I think is the walk in closet.

"Rest for awhile, Xiania. Mag luluto muna ako-"

"Anong gagawin mo dyan sa gamit ko?" I find him weird.

Vraxx dropped his gaze on my things. "I just put it here, ako na ang mag aayos mamaya.."

I scoffed. "Wow.. Are you trying to amaze me?"

Hindi na siya sumagot pa. He just left me alone inside the Master's bedroom, probably to cook our dinner.

Iginala ko ang paningin sa buong silid. It was really nice and minimalist. Kahit na sa tingin ko'y panlalaki iyon dahil sa kulay, mas naging pasok pa sa panlasa ko lalo.

Vraxx was not lying when he said that we have our own individual bed. There are two queen size bed, it was one meter away from each other. Sa harap niyon ay may isang flat-screen television.

I walked towards the bathroom. Nalukot ang mukha ko nang mapansin na isa lang iyon. I thought it would be two, since dalawa naman kami rito.

I sighed before I chose a sweat pants and brallete. I tried to use the shower inside the bathroom. May tub doon, pero hindi ko muna iyon sinubukan dahil sayang sa oras. I am already hungry.

After I took a shower, I decided to call one of my closest agent at the Atlas Org.

"Ira..." I uttered her name after she answered the call.

"Oh! What do you need, Xiania?" her voice sounds cheerfull as always.

Pinasadahan ko ng daliri ang basa kong buhok. "I want you to guard m-me... Uhm, us-"

"Huh? Guard you? As in... Ako?"

Ira is one of the best Custos in our Organization. Custos are the guards or protectors of someone. 'Yong lalaki kanina, palagay ko ay Custos rin siya.

"Y-yeah. I'll just explain it to you. Basta pumunta ka rito, I'll send you the address."

"O-oh, okay..."

Then afterwards, the call ended.

I don't really trust that Caldwell. Kaya nga kumuha ako ng panibagong po-protekta o mag babantay man lang dito. I am not that comfortable around those two men. Bukod sa hindi ko pa kilala, ayaw ko talaga sa kanila.

I sent the address of our new house to Ira before I go downstairs. Nadatnan ko sa kusina ang dalawa.

"How did you do that?" I heard the man asked like he can't believe from what happened.

My brow furrowed as I stopped from walking towards them. I know eavesdropping was rude, but I can't help but to think that maybe, their topic would give me a hint about their hidden agendas.

Vraxx shrugged while serving the food on the dining table. The man helped him to arrange the kitchen utensils.

"I don't know, siguro natakot sa Commander..."

"Oh, bakit?"

Vraxx leered. "The Commander threatened her that she'll be kick out from the Atlas if she didn't marry me.."

I gritted my teeth. Sinasabi ko na nga ba...

"Stop eavesdropping Xiania, wala ka namang makukuhang matinong sagot sa akin," Vraxx murmured.

My eyes narrowed at him as I entered the kitchen. "I was just curious, crush mo ba ako?"

The man earlier coughed consecutively. Our attention went to him.

"Iri..." tunog banta iyon ni Vraxx, then he switched his glance to me. "Let's eat..."

I nodded silently and sat down on the vacant chair. We are all quiet until I spoke to open a topic.

"Let's buy some furniture, Vraxx."

Pansin ko kung paano siya tumigil sa pag kain. Umangat ang tingin niya, nagtatanong ang mga mata.

"Sure, what else do you want?"

I pursed my lips. "Do we have a gym and work area here?"

Vraxx nodded. "We have both, I'll tour you tomorrow."

I didn't respond and just ate silently. Paminsan minsan ay pinapanood ko kung may kahina-hinala ba sa mga kilos nila ni Iri. Then, I remembered Ira.

"Anyway, I sent someone to guard us too-"

"Who?" Vraxx asked, his full attention was now focused on me.

"Ira... You know her?"

"Tangina..."

My eyes squinted as I looked at Iri beside Vraxx. His spoon fell on the floor. Napangiwi siya nang makita na masama ang tingin ko sa kanya.

"S-sorry, Miss. Nagulat lang-"

"Why were you so shocked?" My brow raised.

"Where is she?" Vraxx asked.

I shrugged. "Baka bukas na 'yon pupunta."

"M-miss, saan siya tutuloy?"

Dumapo ang nagtatanong na paningin ko kay Vraxx. "Saan sila tutuloy?"

"Mayroon akong sariling bahay Miss.. May barn house dito sa likod, iyon ang akin-"

"Ira will stay there too, then."

I eyed Iri dubiously when he was about to protest. Natigilan lamang nang mapansin na seryoso ako.

After we ate, Vraxx insisted on washing the dishes. I stayed at the living area for awhile. I took out my phone and started to browse on it. I have a tons of messages from my Family and also from my cousins.

Mommy:

Are you home already? Keep safe please. Message or call me from time to time, we're all worried.

Now you're worried Mom? Kanina lang ay halos ipagtabuyan na nila akong lahat. Hindi man lang ipinagpabukas o kaya'y sa makalawa!

Daddy:

Don't worry about your safety. We're currently monitoring you. Sorry about what we did, Xiania. I love you, visit us next week.

I rolled my eyes before I sent them both a message, assuring them that I'm just fine.

My brow curled in ridiculous after I read our group chat's name. What the hell?

Harriet Flint:

Wright Flint:

I put a box of condom and lubricant inside your luggage, Xiania. Give it to Vraxx, regalo ko 'yan.

My jaw dropped off.

Diveghn Flint:

What the effing thing was that?

I inhaled sharply as I rushed towards the kitchen. Nadatnan kong nag pupunas na si Vraxx ng kamay niyang basa mula sa paghuhugas ng pinagkainan namin. Iri was now outside of our house, probably checking if we're fine and safe already.

"Do you need anything?" he asked innocently.

My cousins' messages lingered on my mind. Napalunok ako bago mag salita.

"I-is there a playroom here?"

Vraxx froze because of my question. Napatigalgal siyang nakatanaw sa akin.

"Y-yeah... Why?"

Halos mapapikit ako sa inis dahil sa sagot niya. "Why do we have that fucking room here inside our house?" I emphasized each freaking word that I said.

He did the most horrible thing. Vraxx smirked.

"Are you scared of me? Scared that I might seduced you? Don't worry baby, hindi muna kita ipapasok doon-"

"Fuck you! Ang dumi dumi mo!"

His eyes widened. "Oh, bakit? Wala pa akong dinadala doon!" he looks defensive though.

"Wala akong pake! Ang sa'kin lang, bakit may ganoon tayo dito?!"

Why it seems so big deal for me? As if naman na magpapagamit ako doon... Oh god. No!

Vraxx grinned like an idiot. "Takot ka talaga. Halika, punta tayo doon..."

I gasped in disbelief as I pulled my hand upwards, punching him on his face. Humalakhak siya bago hinuli ang nakakuyom kong palad at yakapin ako ng mahigpit.

My eyes circled in surprise. "V-vraxx!"
