Chapter sixty-two

Ethan’s POV

I met Ariah in the living room, she managed to look dashing and adorable each time so effortlessly.

I walked towards her and took her hand in mine without saying a word. I led her out of the house and took the key from the chauffeur.

"Take the day off," I said to him and he bowed with a grateful smile on his face. "Get in, Ariah."

I drove the car out of the driveway and cruised slowly along the way to the pack office. She stared at me the whole time and I could tell she was itching to ask me a lot of questions.

"You can talk," I said.

"Where are we going, Ethan?" She asked immediately. "And what about Layla?"

"We're going to the pack office to work on some things, that's all," I replied, staring ahead.

"You're lying." She said with a frown.

"Yes, I am," I said and stopped the car in front of Lowell's lovely duplex. "I'll be right back," I said.
