KANE’s POV

I paced after ending the call with Logan. The more I thought about it, the angrier I became. I understood where Logan was coming from; he was one of the few people in my life who knew who I really was and what I was capable of. It was reasonable for him to warn me about the woman, but how dare he speak to his Alpha like that? Did he think I would have told him or even asked him to draw up a contract if I wanted to do something to the damn woman?

“Oh, Sara. You haven’t been in my life for long, and you’re already causing trouble between my Beta and me? You’d better not cause any more trouble once the contract is signed because I won’t stand for it,” I muttered loudly.

Now that damned woman was invading my mind as if she owned it. There was only one woman who used to own my mind like Sara was threatening to do now—Jade, the only woman who could bend me to her will.
