“Good evening, Carson, you're pretty late,” Lydia said with a smile as she walked up to the man who had just stepped into the house.

“Hm,” he replied as he handed over the briefcase to Lydia, who took it immediately. She could smell alcohol but more of a woman on him. She wondered if he had met up with someone.
