"Mom, you acted too hastily last night. Jen still has over ten million in financial investments that haven't matured yet. If I confront her now, I won't get a penny of that money. She controls most of the shares in the company and regularly reviews the financial reports. Every time I transfer money, I have to go through a lot of obstacles to avoid raising suspicion."

Max reprimanded, "You should have waited until I turned the company into an empty shell before confronting her!"

His mother chimed in confidently, "What's there to be afraid of, son? Both her parents are deceased, and she has no other relatives. Even if we got rid of her, there's no one to defend her! Remember, you said she didn't sign any prenuptial agreements with you when you got married?"

"Prenuptial agreement."

"Yes, exactly! Max, I can't remember all of those things you said. But didn't you say not having one before marriage was advantageous for you? Why can't you receive any money now?"
