Chapter eight-four

Luckily we were able to find an old abandoned house inside the woods, yes! Let me use abandoned because no single soul could be seen around here.

The smell of old woods and dust was the only thing emerging from the house.

"If we were to stay here, I think we need a lot of work to do," Jade said when rambling around the house.

"I think that we should just spend a night here," I mumbled.

"We can't keep striding around the whole wood every goddamn time, we need a place to settle down," came Jerome's annoying voice.

"Staying in a place, they could easily trace us," I enunciate

"I think Amelia is right," Jade affirmed, earning a tender smile from me.

"So we have to keep hiding," Jerome uttered harshly.

"Is not like it is a new thing to you, you have been in hiding for more than twenty-something years now," I said with a scowling face and a raised brow.

"Huh," he laughed bitterly.
