Chapter eighty-three

Gosh!

I sighed when Jerome pulled the door damn open.

"Finally!" Jade let out a sigh behind me.

"Have they gone?" He replied with a small nod.

"You all can now come out,"

We climbed up the stairs before he closed back the wooden door.

Bending, he locks it and uses the rug to cover it up as usual.

"I thought that you were mated to the first brother," he asked when standing back to his feet.

"Albin," my face scrunched in disgust.

"Yeah, I guess that's his name," he nodded slightly.

"Yeah," I gave him a small shrug.

"But why is the second one more affected by your absence?"

My breath caught in my throat at his sudden question.

Despite everything, I still haven't gotten the time to know the meaning of the bond that I shared with Allen.

I knew that it was more than a mere pity from him.
