Chapter seventy-four

Pi Iii. iii……. Pie Iii

I could hear the chanting of the birds, slowly snapping my eyes open.

I instantly closed my eyes as I felt the rays of the sun reflecting in my direction, blinding my vision.

I closed my eyes and opened them. I forced my eyelid to adjust to the atmosphere.

My whole body aches badly, I stirred around and noticed that I was lying all alone under a huge broad tree with a shred of leaves spread underneath me.

All I could feel looming around my face was confusion.

The confusion of not having any slightest idea of how I found myself here.

The confusion of not remembering spreading any shreds of leaves or finding a place to crash our heads at night.

I turned to my right-hand side and then to the left but couldn't find Jade.

I swirled my head around but I couldn't seem to find any trace of him.

And just then recognition filled my eyes, I could remember vividly seeing him when……

When….. Gosh! I hit my head damn hard, everything seemed blurred to me.
