Chapter seventy-six

"Amelia," I could hear Jade's panicked voice from behind me though he wasn't that close.

"Where are you, Jade?" My heart is heaving up and down causing my pulse to quicken but I forced the words to roll out of my lips more like I wasn't afraid.

"Just be careful, so sad you don't have a wolf," he murmured the last word sadly but I just smiled.
