Chapter seventy-five

I exchanged a look with Jade, he kind of looked scared…….. Let me use the word.

But curiosity is killing me within, I so much wanted to find out what could be making that kind of sickening sound inside there.

The type of look that he is giving me is for me not to make any move.

His eyes pleaded for us to turn and leave but I remained on my spot.

"Aren't we going to leave this place?" I shake my head in disapproval.

"I need to know what could be making that sound," I mumbled with my gaze fixed on the entrance.

"Knowing what is inside there is not going to add anything to your life," he said.

"Knowing what's in there is going to do something for me," I said.

"Huh….. Fine, what?" He folded his arms against his chest with his lips curled up in a teasing manner.

But before I could open my mouth, the sound came again.

"Aghuh!!!

I unhurriedly returned my gaze to him but he quivered his eyebrow at me in response.

Using his hand, he gestured for us to leave but I found myself glued to my spot.
