Chapter thirty-seven

His cold voice sent chills down the spine as he turned around to stare at everyone's faces.

The question was directed to no one in particular, so I had my mouth shut with my gaze fixed on Albin waiting for him to speak up.

Allen as usual stood there with a distinct expression without saying a word or even acting like a question was thrown at them.

"I asked you, people, a damn freaking question, don't dare me," with his one hand inside his pants pocket and the other one clenched in anger, his sharp gaze scrutinized everyone's face before they settled on mine.

I swallowed before I quickly tore my gaze away from him.

From the corner of my eyes, I could see the resentment and annoyance flickering around his gaze which rested on me.

"You……" he points at me, pulling my attention.

"Huh," I muttered.

The only thing that had my heart crushing is the fact that he will kick me out of this pack tonight…….. That one is certain and I am not ready to leave so soon.
