Chapter 23 : New Experiences

I wasn't expecting David to take me to his apartment so soon, but I felt relieved knowing he wouldn't take me somewhere that would make me uncomfortable or feeling out of place.

We arrived at his opulent penthouse, and as soon as the elevator doors opened, I was swept away by the sheer grandeur. The open-concept living space offered breathtaking views of the city skyline, and every corner of the apartment seemed to be adorned with exquisite pieces of art.

I found myself mesmerized by the amount of artwork that graced the walls. And even though I wasn't used to such luxury, there was an undeniable warmth and familiarity that made me feel surprisingly comfortable here.

"Welcome to my humble abode," David said with a grin, guiding me further inside.
