CHAPTER NINETY-FOUR

I was not really paying attention, as my mind kept thinking of worse scenarios when I bumped into someone.

“I’m sorry, Mrs. Clinton,” said Matilda.

“Wh—what are you doing this time?” I awkwardly asked, my eyes roaming.

“I came to get water. Do you need something, Mrs. Clinton?” She asked me as her eyes looked in the direction in which my eyes were staring.

“Let’s go,” I held her hand, and she looked confused but followed me.

“Mrs. Clinton, where are we going?” She asked, but I didn’t respond. I didn’t want to go out alone at this time. Outside, I got in the driver's seat, and Matilda, just like taking a hint, got in the passenger's seat. She didn’t even ask any questions as she looked around in shock. I started the car and drove out.

Luckily, the drivers were asleep, so there was no disturbance. Driving out, I spotted Clinton's car, he was driving at high speed. I ignored Matilda’s weird stare as I focused on following Clinton. My heart was racing, and I was not thinking straight.
