Chapter 88

For Selena, the journey has been the most silent one she has embarked in a while. She didn't ask for Robert to take her anywhere yet she couldn't protest because Robert Fin does whatever he wants. She has no say in whatsoever.

She sighed for the umpteenth time and glanced at his side profile as he bent over flipping through some files. Sighing again, she looked away.

"Are we there yet?" Selena asked in frustration.

He stopped abruptly, putting down his file and turned around to look at Selena with a raised brow.

Taking a deep breath, she answered, "sorry, I didn't mean to-"

Robert cut her short, "why are you apologizing?"

"I don't know. Maybe because each time you stare at me, you look creepy and scary." She mumbled and he chuckled in amusement. "I don't look creepy. You are the one assuming things."

"Whatever, Robert." She huffed, crossing her arms over her chest.

"Don't you dare be such a bitch to me." He muttered and returned to the files. "Ungrateful fellow." He cursed.
