Chapter 91

Groaning with one eye open, the wall clock stated 7am in the morning. Too lazy to get up, but Selena has to get up. It was the day she was going to be free. Her contract had ended and knowing what she knows now, she was walking out of Fin mansion without a second thought.

Yesterday, Julio had visited and told her about her parents death and how Vera Wilson was involved in everything. She learnt Vera was her father's evil ex and Dash was her half-brother. It didn't matter since her parents were dead so she told Julio that if ever the case was won in court, all that was left in her name should be given to the less privileged. She has nothing to do with what will constantly remind her that she no longer has the people she loves with her.

Julio could do anything to convince her but Selena wouldn't hear of any of it. Life had solemnly dealt with her and she would want to be far away from any constant reminder of the things life had snatched from her.
