Alizeh's POV
Alizeh's POV
Oh my God!
This is what I felt when I entered the club. Too much crowd for an introvert like me.
I was quick to know I don't belong here. This space looked so foreign to an anti-social animal like me.
Suddenly I started feeling too conscious around the people in inexplicit clothes, designers heels, dolled up faces,
who hardly even noticed a simple non-glamorous girl like me.
Hell, I can't do this.
I turned and remembered Alexander is waiting outside ready to prove how right he is about me!
Well, everything will be fine. Just go ahead. I walked through the pile of people.
All I can see is how people are dancing, smacking mouths with each other. I shrieked from the
Alizeh’s POV I walked out of the club with this handsome punk I thought was facing some kind of depressive episode, but too much to my dismay, he seemed to be like those guys with some mysteries. He is too vocal about his desires, but for once, he wasn't hitting on me like those creepy guys before. His hand was on my back supporting me, his leather jacket wrapped on me, and we were laughing. Actually, I was faking a laugh because his stares were on me continuously until we reached his car. "You can look at other ways," I murmured and felt baffled. "You are too gorgeous to do that in Bambolina." He muttered leaning closer to my ears, and I let out a nervous weird laugh. What is Bambolina? He opened the door for me. I got in, and then he ran to another side to get in. I tried to glance at
Alizeh's POV "Ain't you going to let us in?" Monica stood there keeping her hands on her waist. I felt a little baffled looking at all of them at my house that I kept standing there silently. I wished to refuse her but looking at Alexander I nodded. "Yeah come in," I said, pulling the door for them. All of them entered. His face was blank, still holding something on it which I was failing to guess. He stopped midway, roaming his eyes every way except me, profusely brushing his fingers through his hair, and looked like he wanted to talk something to me. "Hey Alex, what are you doing at the door?" Jack shouted at him "Having some privacy moment duh" Monica scolded him but audible enough "Get comfortable inside Alex," I said. He nodded murmuring "Yes yes. I will just umm..." He
"It's the Notebook movie quote" I heard a low murmur beside me.I quickly turned and pulled out the sheets from Kiara. She was holding a tab under the sheets while her eyes were on me."You are still awake?" I looked at her. She nodded at me."I was reading a book" She mumbled."Kiara, it's too late"I shuffled to her side."Where is Papa? He didn't meet me today"She looked at me.Her words made me speechless. How can I answer her when I haven't found it yet?
After crying for two straight nights, in my study room. I felt sun rays fall over my face. I was amused how the Sun comes up every day, can't he miss a single day and let me cry. Monica's words did not affect me at all in anyways and perhaps she knew about it that's why she sent those photos. To hurt me more. Just a month ago we were in a relationship. But that wasn't true at all. Every single thing about him has been fake. Now it all makes sense, why Monica came straight to Malaysia. So she could meet Alexander. Oh God, how can I be so naive even after I got to know she is his ex. How can I trust him so easily? Such a fool I am. I feel like getting angrier. I
Alizeh's POV I reached work on time. Before getting into the office, I once checked myself in the mirror. I have never worn bright colors before. But I guess it's never too late. I wore the same when Alexander first asked me out. I rubbed my palms in nervousness and entered the office. "I can't believe he is here!" I heard a female voice. "Yes yes he is so hot in reality, oh gosh" another female voice erupted. Who's here? I walked ahead taking each step carefully. I saw everyone in the office, especially the female staff, excited as hell. I walked ahead and saw most of the people looking at me. Some of them looked frowning. Some like Monica! She was in my cubicle. She walked at me with a cunning smile. "Look who's here," she murmured, eyein
Alizeh's POV After the office hours and making sure I haven’t piled up my work like before, I went to pick up Kiara from school. I saw her sitting on the bench. I ran towards her. "Sorry sorry, Kiara. I am late" I saw her upset face. Urgh, the traffic ate my time and now I felt hungrier than ever. Kiara didn't say anything and walked ahead. I went behind her. "Kia" I knelt in front of her, reaching her height. "You promised me to pick up early" She pouted. "Yes yes I know I was stuck with so much work" It becomes all difficult for me whenever she gets upset. "You don't give me time like before," she complained. "Ahh, I accept my mistake," I tried to walk at her pace, holding her school bag. She let out a sigh.
Alizeh's POV While reaching my apartment, I saw a familiar woman coming out. When she turned at me, I halted feeling joyous seeing Layla. "Hi" I felt surprised by my nervous voice. She smiled wide while walking at him. Her eyes sparkled. "So my guess was right." I forgot about Kiara tugging my hand. I couldn't stop smiling at Layla's sudden presence. "My daughter Kiara, this is Layla, my friend" I introduced them to each other. Kiara rubbed her eyes while waving her other hand. "Hey gorgeous lady" Layla greeted her. Kiara opened her mouth but she ended up yawning. "How come you are here?" "Actually I came to meet you here. But found your apartment locked so we're going home" she said.
Alizeh's POV I felt her hand caressing softly on my head when I let out my sobs while hugging her. "Alizeh, I'm here. What happened? Did anyone misbehave with you?" Her words melted me more. The exact warmth I want that she gave me. We parted away but I kept looking down. Still not getting over the hurtful words I heard. I noticed her picking out a small bottle of water from her handbag. She handed it to me. When I refused she held my hand. "You will feel better. Have some water" I grabbed it and hastily drank it. I handed an empty bottle to her hand. I could still hear the faded music and beats coming from the pub. "Can we go out?" I asked, more than demanded while holding her hand. She led me towards the exit. After coming out, I felt my e
