Twenty Seven - In Dilemma
Alizeh's POV
I wanted to take a day off from work but couldn't. My lack of self-confidence and not being so good at handling my shattering self didn't let me sleep peacefully.
In the office, I was in the hope to meet Alexander once and clear the mess I was feeling in my head. An urge to not give up on him pushed me ahead.
At the coffee machine spot, we met again but he was quick to go. I decided to catch him during lunch. When he didn't come to my cubicle, like he usually does, I decided to go where he usually sits with his friends. The cafe near the office building. Kiara opened her mouth but she ended up yawning. "How come you are here?" "Actually I came to meet you here. But found your apartment locked so we're going home" she said.
