I screamed as I extended my hand with my finger on the button. I could hear the electricity from my taser before my hand was slapped away.

"Are you fucking crazy?" I heard a girl’s voice before I opened my eyes.

"Keira!" I flew into her, wrapping my arms around her waist.

"Um, hi." She chuckled.

"Oh my god I thought you were some crazy, red eyed vampire. " I released her as I sat down on my bed, dropping my head in to my hands while I struggled to catch my breath.

Then it hit me again.

Kiera.

My eyes locked onto hers as I stood to my feet. She stood there; her face softened as she watched me. It should scare me, right? Who can I call for the likes of her? Animal control?

"I need something to drink!" Was all I could say. I motioned passed her and ran downstairs to the kitchen with her not too far behind.

I opened the refrigerator, snatching up a bottle of water. I cracked it open and guzzled it until it forced me to stop to catch
