I stood in the cabin, waiting for James to arrive, but my patience was thinning out. Everyone else waited outside. They knew being inside with me would only put them in jeopardy.

I knew I should have stayed.

I blamed myself.

“Shit.” My fist slammed down on the table. The wooden legs beneath the table crumbled.

The cabin door opened.

“Alpha.”

I turned to see James and Aaron.

"What do I need to do?" James appeared ready to go.

"I need something. Anything that could tell us who took her or where they are."

"Yes, Alpha." He left without anymore needed instructions.

"Aaron. I need you to get in touch with the Gold Wolf tribe. I may need their help also.”

"No problem.” He responded before he took off.
