Mr. Heirt's Test

For a whole month, the Skippers have been fighting with their anger to themselves and their teachers. They wanted so much to knock some sense to them, that they’re just learning as well, that to be treated weaklings, as if they’re freshman, should’ve been out of the question.

In particular, Briane had loathed the three hours he had to spend with Mr. Heirt. He just had this tendency to be so arrogant that irked Briane so much he desired nothing more but to fight him one-on-one.

“Shadows are being that are hard to control. It’s a creature you can’t just get by waiting for it to come to your doorstep,” Mr. Heirt was saying, walking back and forth in front of them, wearing a cloak with golden threads, addressing them as though they’re kindergarten. “To be linked with your shadow, you must train; otherwise, your shadow’s overwhelming power will dominate you, and you’ll say goodbye to this world.”
