After getting over my sister being mated to Cohen, I realized he was right. It’s not any different than it was for me. It’s just, well, she’s my sister. My little sister.

“Get over it, I had to.” Emerson says, coming into Cohen’s office where we’re meeting to discuss the potential for war.

“So, does this mean you’ll be asking Malin to be your acting Luna?” I ask Cohen hopefully.

He looks at me sheepishly. “Yeah, and I’ve already talked to Emlyn. I know she’ll talk to you, but I think she’s planning to stay here another week or so to get Malin settled before she moves back to Shadow Falls.”
