'Your mate? Did something happen to her?' Finral asked, filled with concern.

‘No, she's fine. Nothing happened to her, per say,’ Fenris answered, somewhat easing his father.

‘If nothing happened to her, then what is it about her you want to consult about?'

‘It's just…’ Fenris looked down at Christen, unsure if he should tell him about the dream he had. When he saw her body starting to truth, a discomforted look forming on her face, he started to talk. ‘I had a dream earlier.’

He could practically hear his father sigh at the response. ‘Fenris, I know you love her, but there is a time and place for everything,’ he told him.

Already catching on to whatever misunderstanding his father has, Fenris added, 'It's not a good dream. And I don't know about it being a nightmare.’

‘Explain yourself.’

And explain Fenris did, as he told his father of the dream he had. How he saw Christen get violated by some men, while he could only helplessly watch the scene unfold, unable to do anything to stop it
