Chapter 25: A Larger Blunder.

Catherine's POV

I looked up at him firmly and squarely, squinted my eyes, summoned my powerful voice, and declared, "MR. LUCAS LEONARD, I WANT TO SPEAK TO YOU RIGHT NOW AND YOU SHALL LISTEN."

His frown deepened and I could see him from the corner of my eyes dropping the book he was holding, then slowly but steadily, he began to take meaningful strides towards me and all my boldness evaporated because I began to take shaky steps backward.

I moved backward till my back hit something solid... Oh no, not this awkward position again!

His finger lifted my chin and I stared at his deep blue, his Cologne was intoxicating me and it would only be a matter of time before I'd pass out... I should have left when he told me to... I should have because I'm not ready to handle this intoxicating enigma.

"What did you say, Red Hair?" He asked, his breath fanning my face and I could almost taste the coffee he took.
