Alexander’s POV

I was listening to Sam give me a run down of my businesses back home, they seemed to be doing pretty well for now despite my absence, I was glad I had good people to run them for me before I returned home. When he was done, I said “Thanks Sam, seems like everything is in place”

“Yeah it’s all good for now but is there really no date on when we are supposed to return home?” Sam asked me.

A sigh left my lips “None that I can see for now, everything here is such a mess and I can’t leave things this messed up, I want to leave once and for all and never have a reason to return, I just want to do everything to my best capabilities” I said.

“Yeah I know but it is just that sometimes I miss it all, the bustle of the city life, the city lights twinkling at night, everything is much quieter in this place” Sam said with a small smile.
