Chapter 14: By your side

I had been quick enough to support my body with my hands before I crashed directly down into the ground. My arms ached but at least I had saved myself from banging my chin and cutting it up.

Turning around with one of my feet still in his hold I kicked his face with the other making him lose his grip and groan at once. He had pissed me with this move that he had done and rounding his body I picked him up by his foot and dragging his body back a little I then sent him crashing into the giant metallic bin placed against the wall.

The asphalt and dust grazed against his skin and left scratches along his unprotected membrane making him bleed through it while the cussing that elicited out of him told me that the crash had made his body hurt. At least the rattling sound had been loud enough to signify that.
