Chapter 31

AMBER.

I looked up to see Aiden who had a very devilish smile wrapped around his lips. He relished every single thing that was gkingnon, the treatment I was receiving and the horrible embarrassment and humiliation that he was going to subject me to.

I felt like going up to him and throwing the back of my hand across his cheeks but I couldn't even stand the shock of the slap I had gotten from the guard. I was still trying to get myself together when another hit landed on my back, stirring back the pain of the scars in my back. A scream left my throat immediately and it felt as though my whole back had been paralysed.

I yelled in pain and tried to breathe but it felt as though my wind pipe had been blocked. I raised my hand at the guard, choking as I held my throat with the other hand. He kicked away my hand with anger before he reached for my throat, grabbed me up and threw me to the floor again. Another yell of approbation rang from the crowd. And that's when I knew I was in trouble
