I didn't mind calling on the council to debate on this issue because at the end of the day, they would all have something to say and it wouldn't be done quickly. It ended up taking a lot of time which I didn't like. I guessed just signing it and getting it over with was the easy thing I could do at that moment.

The next document was a report from the patrol unit in the Pack boundary, detailing the recent activities of rogues near our territory. They had always told me about that but I knew that they wouldn't dare to attack u less they were drunk.

Nobody in their right minds dared to attack us. Anybody attacking us must have given up on life and was just looking for a way to end it. I wondered why the activities were increasing each day and what the rogues might be planning.

But I didn't give it a thought. It was an insult to even think about or worry about rogues. The men reported that they were attacking some neighbouring Packs and they usually had some activity right out
