As soon as I was done with the preparation, we set off for the journey the next morning. By then I was already sure that there was something wrong with the whole situation. I wondered how Ethan had been able to deal with Asher in such a way that he was able to have him begging for mercy and letting me go.

There couldn't be any other way to revenge other than this. I knew so well that if Ethan already exerted that kind of power, then I was never going to let Aiden leave the Pack once we got there.

I would make Ethan kill him or even lock him up so I could begin his own punishment for the atrocities he had commuted, for all the things he had done to me. I was so happy that this was all happening and for the fact that I hadn't expected any of it, that even made it feel even better. I just wanted to get done with all this and get to the Pack, I mused, smiling thoughtfully to myself. As we approached Alpha Ethan's pack, my heart pounded in my chest. I tried to appear calm, but the
