Chapter 117: Address Of An Old Friend

Lucas felt more pained as he gazed at what he had done. What he remembered was that he was sulking about what his mother's reply always was but then he slipped into an abyss. His emotions took over him and he hurt her.

If not that he heard his dad's voice earlier he wouldn't have let go. Tears started pouring down his cheeks and he quickly got off the chair and ran to his room.

"Lucas!!" Elise shouted while stretching her hands forward to grab him but what she caught instead was just air.

Her heart ached badly and her eyes started emitting tears, it wasn't his doing and she knew that very well.

Her wrist was sour but the pain can never be compared to what she was feeling right now. Her son's pain was also her pain. A mother and a son always share an unspeakable bond that can never be broken.
