Chapter 118: Derek's Surprise Visit (1)

Derek heaved a sigh as he collected the car keys from the beta wolf. He was about to enter the car when the wolf stopped him.

“Won't you go with escorts?” He asked.

Derek blinked. “What for?” He asked.

“Well, you're going to see the wife of the devil and their son. Your safety isn't guaranteed because they aren't trusted. I suggest you go with guards.” He suggested.

“I'm only going to see a harmless mother and her son. They have no reason to hurt me and even if they do, I am strong enough and more than capable to protect myself.” Derek answered.

The beta wolf sighed. Their Alpha was quite an obstinate man. He was right, though. Sending escorts wouldn't be necessary. Derek was capable of protecting himself, and he knew how to navigate his way around stuff. If he goes with escorts, he might end up saving their asses instead.

“Alright, Alpha, but please be careful. It's quite a long distance.”
