The Strange Woman

Arabella did not think he would be able to affect her ever so easily.

He was her master, and her stomach often trembled the moment he opened his mouth to speak.

It was for that same reason she found herself in the room, changing her maid uniform into a regular dress. She changed into a yellow and white floral patterned silk dress and stepped out of the room.

She walked down the stairs to the kitchen and carried her meal to the dining table, where she had decided she would be eating alone.

It was a pity her master and his friend did not join her. She rather thought she would have had a good time eating a meal with the both of them – most especially her master’s new friend.
