24. It Is Now Personal

Andrei's POV

Despite moving at the fastest speed possible, the trip to the attacked pack seemed long, and I glanced at my watch now and then.

“Has the nearest medical team arrived there?” I asked Joe, my driver and personal assistant.

“No, they should arrive at the same time as us.”

I frowned, dissatisfied with that report. Since they had to save lives, why were they moving at such speed?

“When we get back, discuss with Andrei and move the more efficient medical teams to the outskirts areas,” they had more chances of being attacked even if we were going to double on security one more time.

Joe nodded and then stepped on the accelerator. After working with me for more than eight years, he knew me as well as Abel and could pick how anxious I was about getting there.

Thirty minutes later, the car finally stopped in front of the broken pack’s gate, and my nose scrunched up at the heavy stench of blood in the air.

Those bastards.
