Chapter 31: Enemy or not

My eyes widened in astonishment and my surroundings became slow as I watched how the bed went in my direction. A gasp came out from my lips when I touched the bed and jumped from it. The bed slammed into the wall, creating a disturbing noise but still, the troop didn't even go inside to check on me.

Her desperation to assassinate me was incredibly insane. She gnashed her teeth when she threw some quick punches at me. I was panting when her punch landed on my chest, making me stumble backward, and my back slammed into the wall.

She pursed her lips before she crossed her arms on her chest. I hardly coughed and tasted the metallic liquid coming from my mouth. I swallowed it and tasted how disgusted it was.

“It's amazing you dare to fight against me even though they maltreated you like a slave. Perhaps it's because of your wolf,” she commented, slowly walking closer to me with a smug in her face. I groaned when I felt how painful my back was. I felt I was fragile glass, and would be easil
