Chapter 81: Nothing special

“This room is yours!” Gunner rushed into the next room where King Edward was sleeping.

Gasping to breathe some air when my eyes roamed around the room, the interior was different than my old room. I glanced at the next door and went towards it, stunned when I noticed a beautiful scarlet dress hanging in the closet.

What confused me was why there were a lot of scarlet red dresses in the closet. Gulping as I strolled closer to the dress, I was about to touch it when Gunner came inside.

His face was stoic like he didn't like what was happening to me. His pace became fast, and I thought he would hurt me so my eyes flickered as the reaction of his actions.

“These dresses are yours. King Edward doesn't like you wearing some light color. I don't understand why he's breaking his rules just for you.” Gunner seemed upset because of King Edward's decision. I didn't say anything but he took the dress and placed it on my hand.
