Victoria faced Claudia. Lady Page seemed to have a lot of curses toward Victoria in her eyes.

"You look so different from the last time I saw you, Victoria," said Claudia.

"You're right. This time, I do not look like a wet cat."

"And you seem to be bolder. Because you wear that expensive dress and diamond, you think you're on the same level to talk haughtily to me?"

"Our level will never be the same, Lady Claudia. I just put these things on as a formality. After all, I must look decent because the man I will marry is a noble."

Claudia clenched her fits after hearing Victoria call Helio.

"God damn it!"

Claudia swung her hand toward Victoria's face, but Victoria managed to hold her, sending Claudia to surprise.

"What?"

"Why do so many people want to slap me today? I'm sick of this scene." Victoria said while Helio smiled when watching her.

"I am sorry, Lady Claudia, but I have to keep my face to stay flawless until my wedding day. I can't let you touch me."

"How dare you! Do you think you can compare me with these things? You're just a mop that is not even worth touching cheap urns! How dare you treat me rudely?"

"I am sorry to make you pissed off, Lady. You absolutely can't accept that I and Master Helio will get married soon. I know how deep down your feelings."

"What a pathetic! I will definitely kill you!"

"Think about it wisely, Lady. I think this is not the right place to throw your anger over me. I can ask my bodyguards to throw you down, but that will only embarrass you since so many people are watching us right now. Please, consider it."

Claudia looked around and realized Victoria's words. She was pissed off, but Victoria was coming closer.

"You must be so upset, but since the first time, Master Helio was the one who proposed. Maybe I will always look like a mop to you, but at least I am the woman Master Helio wants to marry."

Claudia couldn't take it anymore, so she returned to her car and drove away with embarrassment.

While Victoria was greeted by hands, clapping when she was back in her car.

"That was so nice, Lady!" said Helio, "how can a dirty mop change to a classy, expensive silk quickly? Wow, your development is like a female lead's extreme change of a romance book."

Victoria had yet to respond. Even though she would marry Helio, their relationship was far from good. Victoria still hated Helio for all his games; she still saw him as one of the reasons her life went down.

"But she will not give me up," Helio said, talking about Claudia. "She'll be back and do anything to crush you up. What are you going to do?"

"She seems to love you so much."

"She's obsessed with me."

"That's good. I can use that feeling against her."

"What do you mean?"

Victoria looked at Helio; she was full of determination when she said, "If she loves you so bad, then I will make her can never have you. I will be your one and only woman until she cries a river of blood because she wants my place."

***

The wedding day was held so fancy.

Victoria was in the dressing room, a little bit nervous. This was going to be her first day to meet all of Ruthner's family, including Helio's father, the head of Ruthner's family.

Victoria paid attention to the door; Helio walked in with a neat-classy look. His body was muscular and tall, with that handsome face making him look like a prince.

But the excellent appearance was ruined when he said.

"Not that bad for a dusty mop." He mocked Victoria, even though she looked heavenly pretty today.

"What have you prepared for today?" Asked Helio.

"A trick to look sincere when I read the wedding oath?"

"Haha, that's good. But you're going to meet my family. Don't you a little bit nervous?"

"I am trying to show professionality. Revenge without professionalism will look dumb anyway."

Helio just laughed at Victoria's words, even though the woman didn't like it because Helio's laughter always sounded like a mockery to her.

"I want to ask you one thing: why did you buy me?"

"Gosh, do you still want to know the reason?"

"What the hell did you think I am not going to be mad after being treated like stuff? You could get me for free since my father didn't want me, but you still bought me."

"Well, rich guys loved to buy something unworthy, just to show off that we had a lot of money. I am the one who offers your father to buy you. I know your father could give you for free, but I want to give you the feel of something that can be sold, bought, and thrown away. That's fun to watch."

Victoria might regret her decision to ask.

"And you must be wondering why I am toying with you, but I will never let you know. You must be desperate to be punished when you don't know your fault."

Victoria sighed, but suddenly, the door was broken into by Claudia.

She came with anger, but she didn't touch Victoria and just said, "Say goodbye, bitch. I will kick you soon of Helio's side!"

"What a spectacular greeting from a broken-hearted lady," replied Victoria. Claudia was angry but could hold herself just to say something big.

"You will never steal Helio from me! I will marry him!"

Victoria flinched her eyebrows, but Helio didn't seem to be surprised.

"Our family relationship is so close, also with our business. Page's family is a good business friend to the Ruthner family, and I will make it clearer by marrying Helio!"

"So, you okay with a business marriage?"

"Fuck about business marriage; I will do anything just to make sure you can never be his woman! Of course, Sir Desmond Ruthner will choose me as his daughter-in-law, not a poor woman like you!"

Victoria laughed as she enjoyed Claudia's sharp words.

"I am sorry, Lady Claudia, but I will not go that easy. I'll ensure I am the woman Master Helio wants to marry. Sorry to make you upset."

"What? Shit! Do you think Sir Desmond will let you do that?"

"Lady Claudia, please stop embarrassing yourself like this."

"Shut the fuck up!" Claudia gave Victoria a hard slap. "Don't be brag, bitch. You can't win against Sir Desmond's decision. Even Helio knows well what will happen if he goes against his father's words!"

Claudia walked to Helio. "Tell her, Helio. Tell that bitch you're going to marry me! If you do not marry me, I will cancel all of Page and Ruthner wires, and you know what consequences await you."

"In the end, you use the threat." Victoria laughed.

"I am not talking to you."

Victoria looked at Helio, waiting for him to speak. She knew that Helio didn't want to marry Claudia, and she confidently believed that Helio would choose her.

"I will marry you two."

But that statement broke Victoria's trust.

"I can't ruin Ruthner and Page's good relationship, but I can't let Victoria go. So, I only need to marry you two. Stop fighting and be ready; I will try my best to be fair."

Helio smiled at Victoria, but that was a mockery.

Helio knew Victoria would not let Claudia have him; he heard that oath yesterday. But Helio did it intentionally, breaking Victoria's confidence in shame.

"Haha." Victoria laughed; she knew that Helio only wanted to play with her. He tried to play Victoria like a doll, but she

was not going to let it happen.

"I will kill you, Helio Ruthner."
