Victoria carried out major discipline at Helio's house for the next few days.

It wasn't just discipline, but a way to cut off Claudia's movements by throwing away her dogs.

"Please don't fire me, Mrs. Victoria. I don't know where else to work but here."

Victoria didn't care when the servants who used to bully her, now kneeling at her feet—begging not to be fired.

Including Bertha.

“I don't want to take risk for keeping evil people like you, So get out of this house now while I haven't created bad track about you here."

“But we've worked for master Helio for years, Mrs. Victoria!”

“And the problem?” Victoria asked coldly. "Because you've worked here so long, you think I can't get you out, Bertha?"

Bertha held back panic. If Victoria fired her, then that was what would happen.

Victoria looked at Bertha; the maid must have felt annoyed but couldn't do anything. Who would have thought that the girl she used to bully so bad would now make her kneel down and beg for forgiveness?

“Do you still think Helio will help you? Do I need to make it clear that it won't happen?”

Victoria walked in front of the maids who were bowing helplessly, like she was a Mistress.

"And also... for those of you who are still thinking and hoping that Lady Claudia will help you, I feel sorry for you. But I am the Mistress of this house, and I will decide your fate in this house in the future."

Victoria glanced at Amy coldly, and as if she understood her mistake, Amy didn't dare look at Victoria.

"It would be better not to hope so much when you're the person with a bad attitude, because I will throw away those who don't deserve to work here."

“Stop saying that you are the Mistress of this house! That's disgusting!”

Victoria saw Claudia coming from the house, approaching those who were in the drying clothes area.

Seeing Claudia, the maids seemed to see hope as Claudia pulled Victoria away to help Bertha up.

“Saving your beloved maid, huh? You know that's a waste?"

“Using the little authority Helio gave you to throw away my people, huh? But you look more pathetic, Victoria.” Claudia looked at Victoria sharply and coldly. “Aren't you so funny? It feels like you're going to tell the whole world that you're the Mistress of the house, but a rag is a rag, Victoria. Everyone already sees you as that lowest thing and you can't do anything.”

“Then how do you explain all this? All your dogs are under my feet.”

Claudia didn't answer, but she clenched her fists.

“They all begged me to not to be fired, instead asking for your help to save them. Do you know what that means? They proved that, even you don't have the power to save them. And if this is a bit of authority that Helio gave me, is it wrong if I use it well? I helped Helio to clean his house from the trash."

Claudia looked annoyed and Victoria enjoyed it.

“The fact that Helio let me be the Mistress of this house instead of you, are you hurt because of that? Has your pride been broken? Are you heartbroken? But nothing will change, Lady Claudia, this cheap rag still stands in front of you as the Mistress of this house and we are in the same position. So stop acting like you're still the master, because it shows how bad you can't accept your defeat and that's a pity."

“How dare you!”

Claudia slapped Victoria hard, making the maids watch with their eyes open, as if they got what they wanted after holding themselves under Victoria's feet.

“Just because you can be Helio's wife, doesn't mean you can be in the same position as me! You said that you wouldn't be able to match me, and that's a reality that can't be changed. Realize that and know your place, slum rag!”

“I say it because it was a reality before I married Helio; now I am Helio's wife, just like you, so what makes us different?” Victoria approached, she was still calm even though Claudia's slap made her cheeks red. “I can even slap you back and it's not a violation, because what happens is; two wives fighting each other, not a servant slapping her master.”

"You try to threaten me?"

"Why? Are you afraid? Do you want to say this to Helio to get the same answer as that night?”

Claudia was silent, holding back embarrassment as she remembered how Helio ignored her that night.

“If you want to make a difference between us right now, should I remind you of one thing, Lady Claudia? You married Helio because of your threat, whereas I married him because he proposed to me first."

Claudia wanted to slap Victoria even more, but shame held her back. Victoria knew, that fact was something Claudia would never be able to accept.

“I don't need to threaten anything and use anyone's name just to marry Helio, but what you do looks more like a beggar. Helio could abandon his family business and reject you, and when that happens, even a lifetime won't be enough for you to have a place in this house.”

"SHUT UP!"

“Why should I do it? Is that an order?”

"You…!"

Victoria held back her laught seeing Claudia almost crying; her eyes bulged with anger and made them red and watery.

"Or if you keep thinking our positions are still different even though I've explained all this to you, Do I have to make big changes to make you get it? If you are in a very high place, should I just pull you down to where I am? Where a rag goes?”

“Damn! You think I will tolerate this shit?”

"Surely you won't be calm if you haven't do it back to me? Like a Lady, you love to threaten."

Claudia clenched her fists even more, but seeing her unable to do anything made Victoria smile with satisfaction.

Victoria moved forward to Claudia fearlessly and said, “I'm waiting for what kind of vengeance you will give me, Lady.”

“Wow… is there another new show this morning?”
