SARAH

THE NEXT DAY

I woke up to the persistent sound of knocking on my door.

My brows creased as I aroused from my light siesta, "Who is it?" I mumbled, half awake.

"Miss Sarah, Mr Emilio is around and he demands your presence" the feminine voice informed me to my greatest shock. I shot up from the bed at once, my tremored eyes taking a quick cursory glance at the digital wall clock.

It was eight pm.

"Miss Sarah did you hear me?" The maid asked once again.

I snapped my eyes to gaze at the door and I nodded rapidly, "Y-yes I did. I-I'll b-be down stairs in a minute" Fuck. I'm even stuttering.

Just the mere mention of his name is enough to cause a whirlwind of emotions to rampage within me.

God I thought he wouldn't be back any time soon. It's been two weeks since he left, couldn't he just make it three or better still four!

And why does he want to see me anyways? What have I done this time? He almost flogged me to death and vanished into thin air, leaving me in the care of the maids
