Aurora jerked awake in the middle of the night. Her stomach squeezed in tightly that she could hardly breathe.She began to pant but quickly covered her mouth the moment she realized Luca was sleeping beside her.

His hand was around her waist, and his face looked so peaceful which was a stark contrast to his demeaning and dangerous aura when he is awake. Aurora couldn't help but stare at him quietly and her own pain seemed to disappear like thin air. She laid back down on the bed and propped herself up with her elbow. She continued to stare at him finding it so peaceful and funny too.

So he looked this way when he slept? She thought in her mind and a small smile climbed up her lips.At the same time, an idea occured to her.She picked up her phone lying on the drawer beside the bed.
