Telling Sam that she would be the one to judge my mother and the Carter's wasn't easy. I knew she wouldn't take it well. I tried to convince my father to handle the matter, but he refused. He knew my mother needed to be humbled, and she needed to know that her time as Luna had come to an end, and he believed this was the best way to do it.
