"Damien" She called in a shaky voice, the tightness in his chest immediately lessened.
"Mystique" he also called, his grim voice was now soft and light as if he was speaking to a child, dripping with raw emotions.
"Damien, please save our child. I can't bear the pain any longer" Mystique winced and cried from the other side, breaking his heart into tiny pieces, just when Damien was about to speak, the husky voice came back.
"That's all you need to know. Provide the money in two days. My boys and I would be waiting" he hung up on him.
Damien smirked maddeningly throwing the phone to Liam, who nodded before walking out from the office. He winked at his boys as he pulled out his gun.
"Let's have some fun with those fuckers tonight"

Silently she stared and observed. she didn't how much time passed but her body
"Do you think her husband is that stupid!" Hikaru vociferated to his boss as soon as he hung up the call after speaking to Damien Martinez, a man known all over the underworld as the most feared mafia boss. He knew his boss was an ignoramus but not that stupid. Seemed like they had no idea who they just called but luckily, Hikaru was not dim-witted. He knew all about the monster on his way, on his way to bring them their deaths. The boss shrugged. "Even though he comes with the police, we'll kill them all and takes the money and before Madam Appa gets here, I am already a 50million reacher" This man was the true definition of stupidity. Hikaru scoffed inwardly, a smirk curved on his lips. They distinctly had no idea what was coming. He turned his gaze back to Mystique, who was just lying on the floor, letting out cries of agony once in a while. Let's just hope Mr. Marti
Hikaru immediately turned towards the door but it was not unclogged yet, so that meant the person who shot Freed was...he gasped loudly as he immediately turned only to find Mystique on her feet with a gun on her shaky grip but she was falling as the gun fell out from her hand but luckily, Hikaru was fast as he caught her before she landed on the floor. He shook her but Mystique was now completely unconscious, blood rushing out from between her legs, tears slipped out from his eyes as he held her close to his chest, waiting for someone to find them and soon, the door was blasted opened and there stood was none other than Damien Martinez dressed in all black, his hair was disarrayed and his eyes was bloodshot, completely animal-like and hanging low on his hand was a katana sword dripping with blood. "Help" Hikaru cried out and that was when the beast's gaze landed on an unconscious Mystique, lying unconsciously in a young boy's arms, both were in
She stared, she blinked, she watched the white cell, she gulped but the rest of her body felt numb. Anger, shock, denial, guilt, fear, she couldn't tell the extra emotion. Her chest was clenched, her stomach felt tighten, her head ached, her head felt explosive but her body felt numb, her ears were dead to the world, the only thing visible in her world was that pale white wall, she blinked suddenly feeling her mouth dry, she felt nausea and a hollow feeling in the stomach. Suddenly, everything stopped making sense. She lost her little one, her ball of light and it was all her fault, Mystique suddenly laughed out, catching her treating nurse off guard as she jerked a bit but then she was back to the way she was, unfeeling, without sensation and unmoving, just numb. Not too long, Bell and Mr. Eddard walked in through the door but Mystique was staring past them, gazing at the white stainless wal
"I know you must be very disappointed in me, I didn't take care of Mystique enough based on the kind of man I am," Damien said with depression. "You are right, am disappointed but it isn't entirely your fault, Madam Appa is a cunning woman and anyone would fall for traps" Mr. Eddard shook his head before standing on his feet. "Come meet me later, I think it's time we have a chat together. For now, am leaving my niece in your hands, I want this to be the last time I would visit her in the hospital because of you, trust me you won't like me when am mad" he palmed him on the shoulder encouraging him before walking out from the room, Bell stood up and silentlyshadowed him, wanting to give the couple some space. Damien sighed turning his gaze back to Mystique with a determined face. "I will make all of them pay, it's time for action" *~* Slowly, her eyes fluttered and the firs
Fling off his upper coat, Damien wadded up the sleeves of his shirt to his elbows, his black pants hanging perfectly on his waist and his feet were covered with well-polished black leather shoes. His feet were clangorous, hefty steps echoing throughout the building as he walked towards his secret basement. It's about time he played a little. Reaching the lowest floor of his mansion, one of his men guarding the door opened it for him and he ostentatiously made his way in. Archer and Ichabod were waiting for him with a chair between them and a little table that had his tools. Elegantly, he sat himself down, three empty chairs a few meters before him. "Bring them in" he ordered in a deep husky and grim voice. Without wasting any second, the door opened and three of his men walked in with three other people, a sack over their heads and a rope tied tightly around their wrist from behin
She tilted her head. "Let me guess, he is the mastermind behind my kidnapping" Mystique articulated cold-blooded, nearly sending shivers down Damien's spine. "Mystique, I can ex-explain...!" Renley blabbered, sweats dripping from his forehead and his throat making a gulping sound. "Explain what, explain the fact that you sent those men after me just so you could save me and I would believe you were a kind man helping a helpless soul!" Mystique suddenly raised her voice, making most around him jerk in fright. "It's not his fault you are stupid enough to fall for our little tricks, your denseness made you lose your child, deal with it, don't blame us for your imbecility!" Ashley spatted but Mystique smirked, her eyes suddenly displaying madness as She slowly rose from Damien's thighs, went over to the little table that had all kinds of torturing tools, she picked one up, twisting it between her f
Slowly, she pushed the glass doors and she stepped her foot in but stopped as a lump solidified in her throat. She inhaled and exhaled, composing herself from panicking. With one finally intake of breath, she pushed the doors wider and strolled in, the brightness of the room nearly dazzling but she didn't care as her attention was on the demised body lying on the bed, attached with machines to breathe, she gulped feeling a sudden tightness in her chest. Was this her fault...? Of course, it was, everything was her fault. Not only did she lose her child, but Harriet was also fighting for her life and it was all because of her, because of her innocent, naive ways. Taking baby steps, she stopped beside the bed where the other person laid lifelessly, only the sound of the monitor was there to indicate she was still alive, struggling to make it to the land of the living. Harriet, a lady she was used to seeing every
"Move away!" Mystique ordered, trying to keep her voice as nice and calm as she could but the man found her threat jesting as he burst out laughing. "Damien's little slut is tough, I like that. I wonder how tough you'll be when I have you tied to my bed, screaming beneath me as I po..." His sentence was left halfway as Mystique's landed a fist on his nose, making it bleed, she smirked in satisfaction. "I am no one's whore asshole!" She spatted, kicking the man in his stomach and he ended up falling on the ground, wailing and moaning in pain. "You price of shit!" The man cursed. "What did you say?" Just when Mystique was about to give him another kick in the guts, Damien came out. "What's going on here?" Damien asked signaling the two men walking behind him and they rushed forward, putting the man on his feet, Damien didn't fail to notice the cunning smirk playing on Mys
