"Damien?!" Mystique called with uncertainty in her voice and her breath immediately got caught in her throat and when the person before her took off his hoodie from his head, finally revealing his identity, Mystique nearly lost her balance but she held herself steady with the couch.
Then she burst out laughing at her misfortune as tears gathered in her eyes and her heart pound faster than it had ever done before. She immediately placed a hand over her chest and clenched tightly.
"Are you alright?" Damien asked worriedly taking a step forward but Mystique held her palm out, stopping him on his tracks.
"Shut up, you are just another one of my nightmares, just my imagination again" she uttered to herself with her eyes shut tightly.
"But Mama, you are not dreaming," Dean said as he ran to Damien, slipping through her hands who tried to catch him.

Unconsciously she smiled as a warm sensation raced through her. Still, with her eyes closed, she held the soft pillow tightly but instead of softness, she was met with a hard yet soft and warm surface.Since when did her pillow become this hard yet so warm and comfortable. The first thing Mystique witnessed while walking into the club with her friend Bell, was the full blast of music, loud enough to deafen her sensitive ears. Now, Mystique remembered why she hated clubbing. First was the loud music, the second was the crowd, drunken people grinding against each other, the smell of alcohol, vomit, and sweat. Mystique groaned as the morning sun pierced her eyes through the curtains, making it difficult to sleep peacefully. Turning on her side, she put the covers over her bare shoulders as a wandering smile took over her features. She couldn't remember the last time she slept this undisturbed with no nightmares. Deciding that she wasn't gonna sleep any longer, Mystique turned again, facing the ceiling as she slowly fluttered her eyes opened, only to come face to face with unfamiliarity. She stared blankly at the white ceiling as she tried to process what just happened but only succeed in inviting a headache as a painful moan left her mouth. She slowly sat upright, bringing a hand up to massage her pounding temple. Suddenly, her orbs went wide as flashbacks of the previous night's events came rushing back to her head.
