Through the years, everything the Miller's owned had been transferred to Mystique and Damien's wealth and his family wealth had also be transferred to her name, one could say she was bathing with money but being unfit to look after two companies, Archer and Harriet' because the temporary owners till Mystique was ready to take responsibility which would take a whole lifetime.
"I'm surviving Harriet" Mystique replied after a few seconds of silence.
Harriet sighed and threw her hands up in the air in frustration. "Jesus Mystique, you are a lost case!"
Silently, Mystique moved around with the baby, and then, Bell, V, Liam, and Hikaru walked in and Mystique's eyes immediately met the sorrowful ones of Bell who was another lost case, another lost soul as Theo also never made it out from that fire.

"Damien?!" Mystique called with uncertainty in her voice and her breath immediately got caught in her throat and when the person before her took off his hoodie from his head, finally revealing his identity, Mystique nearly lost her balance but she held herself steady with the couch.Then she burst out laughing at her misfortune as tears gathered in her eyes and her heart pound faster than it had ever done before. She immediately placed a hand over her chest and clenched tightly."Are you alright?" Unconsciously she smiled as a warm sensation raced through her. Still, with her eyes closed, she held the soft pillow tightly but instead of softness, she was met with a hard yet soft and warm surface.Since when did her pillow become this hard yet so warm and comfortable. Unconsciously, her hands moved on their own, tracing everywhere just to make sure it was her pillow."Keep touching me and you'll regret it" a deep husky voice rang in her ears and her eyes jerk opened and instantly met the orbs of her husband of almost a year now.Mystique consciously smiled as she moved closer to that warmth that was raging from the other person. The first thing Mystique witnessed while walking into the club with her friend Bell, was the full blast of music, loud enough to deafen her sensitive ears. Now, Mystique remembered why she hated clubbing. First was the loud music, the second was the crowd, drunken people grinding against each other, the smell of alcohol, vomit, and sweat. Mystique groaned as the morning sun pierced her eyes through the curtains, making it difficult to sleep peacefully. Turning on her side, she put the covers over her bare shoulders as a wandering smile took over her features. She couldn't remember the last time she slept this undisturbed with no nightmares. Deciding that she wasn't gonna sleep any longer, Mystique turned again, facing the ceiling as she slowly fluttered her eyes opened, only to come face to face with unfamiliarity. She stared blankly at the white ceiling as she tried to process what just happened but only succeed in inviting a headache as a painful moan left her mouth. She slowly sat upright, bringing a hand up to massage her pounding temple. Suddenly, her orbs went wide as flashbacks of the previous night's events came rushing back to her head.
