There was a pause of a minute before Kayla said, "Say that again."
This time her voice was not filled with sleep as it was a couple of second ago, instead she seemed fully awake.
"Kidnap me from Damon's pack. Hire someone or do it yourself or with your friends or whatever. Just get me out of here. Tomorrow!"

Damon had not returned from the meeting room. Bella did not know why, but she did not want to return to the meeting room to check up on them. It was possible that they had gotten the whiff of her scent while she had been there but avoided it thinking it was no big deal considering she was living here. But if she went back downstairs, and they came out of the room, her scent is going to be stronger and will alert them that she had heard their discussion. Bella woke up with an extremely calm mind and painless hand, thankfully. The throbbing in her elbow had completely disappeared.
