Colten and Estelle could not tell who he was putting up a grudge with.

“Director Flynn, would you please excuse me, ” requested Colten.

Furrowing his brows tightly, Skyler stared intently at him for a while and moved aside for him to pass through.

Colten finally left the ward.

Only after seeing him leave, Estelle let out a sigh of relief. She leaned back onto the bed frame and the wound on her chest was getting more painful. The anesthetic was wearing off and the sharp pain slowly got intensified.

“Why, hate to see him leave huh? He is already long gone, haven’t you see enough?” Skyler uttered nonchalantly.

Estelle frowned and shut her eyes. When the pain died down, she replied faintly, “No, I haven’t. Are you pleased now?”

“Ha, you’re finally admitting huh?” Skyler let out a sneer.

“Admit to what?”

It's stupid for Estelle to continue to love this man. I hope she would really give up. There is no future for both of them. He had wronged her for so many years. This is a meaningless relationship. She better just live alone with her children. It's also better if she could extract her revenge.

Skyler never loved her. She never gave her the benefit of the doubt, even a little bit. She assumed the worst of her immediately, rushing to conclusions when he’s supposed to love and know her. Gad. I hope he experience all the pain he inflicted to Estelle.
