A puzzled look remained plastered on my face as we journeyed through the forest. We came to an open field that was the ruins of one of the devastated settlements. The Queen of Cards had really unleashed hell on the people and she had to be stopped.

We walked through the ruins, holding on to our breaths. There was silence until we got to the Lonis Gardens, where the calendar was kept in a small store room, alongside other valuable documents. We ambled to the room to find the doors bolted shut with a lock that we had no key to. I looked at the twins, they had begun to panic as nobody remembered that the store room needed keys to be unlocked. Just when we were about to turn back, I spotted Mr.Duck and Herald the cat coming at a distance. They had followed us!

“Looking for this?” Mr Duck dangled the keys for us to see. There was a sigh of relief between us all. Herald the cat said a few words in greeting and perched on a branch a few yards away from us. I sensed that he was still shaken
