Chapter 7: Belle

The horse neighed continuously as I rode it faster into the woods. My horse was far ahead of Gaston's. Last night was quite risky as we broke into the stable to steal Chester, the security alarm had gone off the moment we opened the door to escape. Some officers chased after us for a while but they gave up after they realized we weren't making a halt. I had stubbornly suggested we go ahead in search for papa that night though Gaston was against it he later agreed on the condition that he would come along with me and I readily cooperated.

Chester neighed and jerked vehemently bringing me out of my reverie. I tried to hold on tight to Chester but he kept jerking back and fought violently like he was scared of something. I lifted my head to look around the surroundings and realized that further ahead into the woods was pitched dark.
