Goldilock’s Submission 2

Chapter 2:

As soon as I heard them leave the house the next morning, I picked up the only change of clothes I had and ran away ran away from the house I had known as my home all my life.

I ran without a specific direction. All I had in mind was to get as far away as possible from them. I didn’t even know the town well enough because I had only gone there once when my mother fell sick and my father wasn’t around. I had to go with the doctor to retrieve some drugs. Aside that instance, I had never been to town. Yet I planned on heading there.

That was where I would see people who could help me. I would just have to find someone that would give me shelter for today. Tomorrow, I would go find my own space. The town was large enough for me to live in without clashing into my cruel parents. But if it happened that I couldn’t stay any more without seeing them, I would save enough to go very far away.

I tried to recall the paths that led to town from the old memory I had and I soon realize I
