Chapter Thirty-Three

Asher stuck to his word and took me for lunch whilst Cameron sorted out the insignificant details of the meeting, I did feel bad that it was my idea yet, I’m sitting down eating whilst he does all of the work. But Asher was quick to tell me it’s Cameron’s job and he’s more than happy to help.

It was nice to just sit and eat with Asher, we had made a sort of habit of doing this when he wouldn’t leave my side for days. We hardly spoke, but you could feel it wasn’t awkward or sad, it was nice that we could sit in silence and not feel the need to start a conversation.

I had just finished eating when a man walks into the room, he bows his head in respect towards us where I thought he was going to walk over to Asher like normal. But instead, he comes to a stop beside me holding a white envelope in his hands.

“Sorry to disturb you but a letter came into the pack house addressed to you Luna.” He smiles handing me the white envelope, initially, I was a little confused on why I would be sent a
