Becky was stood in the bathroom beside me whilst cleaning the many cuts on my arm, after we had left the guys, she hadn’t spoken much to me. I could see that she had many different emotions swirling around her head, not only due to her learning that her parents had been betraying the pack which she calls home. But also, she thought her brother had died a year ago only to learn, he was turned into a vampire the one I had to kill so he wouldn’t kill me.I was hoping she wouldn’t begin to resent me due to this, I had little to no choice to do what I did. If I would have allowed that man to do what he pleased, I wouldn’t be standing here right now.I look at her through them mirror as her eyes remained on my arm, I tried to read what her emotions were telling me, but I was at a loss. I sigh slightly taking a look down to the counter, I somehow had to break the ice.“I’m sorry.” Is all I say looking at her once again through the mirror, but she lifts up her head sending me a confused look.

The closer that we would walk towards the huge crowd of people, the darker the entire atmosphere which engulfed us felt. I remain with my head down slightly as the drums only got louder and in turn, much more intense than before. I begin to try and rack my brain in hopes of finding ways to ignore this, I knew even if I didn’t look at what was happening, I’m still going to hear it!Before I had time to fully think of my next moves, the drums quieten in a sense which was what caused me to look up. After Spencer’s execution, the entire pack was dismissed and told to stay indoors so everything could be taken away, including Spencer. Within an hour, Asher had gotten ready and started training me. If I thought yesterday was tiring, it was nothing compared to what he made me do today. But instead, I knew I had a job to do and kept my head in the game, this is all helping me in the long run, the more I keep training, the easier it’s going to get overtime. After even more hours of agonising training with Asher, the sun began to rise and he told me it was the end of training today but we definitely, will continue tomorrow so I can better my skills even more.Asher was nervous at first to act as though he was going to hit me, but I kept repeating that it was all to help me in the long run and if him hitting me stops a vampire from doing so, I will take it. I managed to dodge quite a few to my surprise, but there would be the odd hit to my side from Asher, where he would immediately, stop and check if I was okay.By the end, I was actually getting the hang of sensing when and where his next hit would come from. I was still lost after our training session before, the amount of strength not just physically, but mentally that I would need to be able to fight in this war seemed untouchable for me. The safe was full with a huge folder, what seemed to be jewellery and a type of liquid in a bottle looking back at me. I turn back towards Thomas in hopes he knew what any of these things were, but when he gives me the same look I had on my face, I see we were both at a loss.I reach forward and pick up the first item, it was a long silver necklace which wrapped around my hand once I had picked it up. Thomas backs up even more once he saw, I guess he was very much scared of that silver touching him. But now it was out of the safe, I could look and take in all of the many details. Thomas and I soon arrive back home, I didn’t fully understand how I was going to be able to explain this all to Asher. I was fully lost myself on what all of this meant, I went to see Patricia in hopes she would offer me more insight, but she only answered questions I didn’t even know I needed answers to.Thomas suggested we head in Asher’s home office, that and his pack house office were two of the most secure places.
