Chapter Forty-Four

After Spencer’s execution, the entire pack was dismissed and told to stay indoors so everything could be taken away, including Spencer. I saw Asher wanting to talk to me, but I had nothing to say, I felt numb from that entire experience and what Spencer had told me before he died.

I also didn’t know what I could say to Asher, I knew he had done things such as that due to the stories I had been told and him being an Alpha. But I didn’t think I would one day have to witness that; it was as though he didn’t care about the life that was in front or him. He had so much to prove to the entire pack and vampires, it was all he could see.

After returning home alone, I climb into bed and snuggle into the covers.
